The canopy walk at Nyungwe left me completely speechless. Swinging 70 metres above the ancient rainforest, watching colobus monkeys leap through the canopy — words cannot do it justice. Manoir handled permits and transport seamlessly. Absolutely magical.
We arrived late at night — 11pm — and Manoir's driver was right there, sign in hand, big smile, clean vehicle. He even had cold water waiting. Such a small touch that made us feel so welcome in Rwanda. Everything with this company is done with care.
We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with the gorilla trek. Manoir arranged the permits, a beautiful lodge near the park, a private vehicle — everything. Our guide knew the gorilla family by name. It was intimate, humbling, and perfectly organized.
Excellent overall experience. The game drive was outstanding — we spotted lions, elephants, and hippos all in one morning. I give 4 stars only because our initial booking confirmation took a day longer than expected. But on the day itself, everything was perfect.
